I'm 14!
I got a cd/clock/radio thingy, contacts, pants, a shirt, and a teeth whitening kit (I've been asking for one for a while).
I'm still very sad though.
Omgosh! My name's on the news scroll thingy. Yay!

No, I didn't post the why I'm sad story anywhere else.
Some of you may now that I like The Used. On my birthday, my mom and i went to Target. We were looking at CDs, and I saw that they had The Used's first CD. I picked it up and looked at. Then I put it back on the rack. I'm very disappointed at myself for not even bothering to ask.
Then when we went to look at nail polish, I looked at the black nail polish. I searched through the colors and didn't see anything that really appealed to my (except for the black). I told my mom this, and all she said was "No." She acts like I'm going to start worshiping Satan if I wear black nail polish.

guh, I hate paranoid parents. that's not the way to stop you from being a rebel or a satanist or whatever she's fearing, if you were gonna be that way.
it's like my friend's mom, who got knocked up around 17, and she randomly forbids her daughter from doing things cause she's afraid she'll turn out the same way... and then lets her go down to Seaside when she was only 15 alone with her date.

That's the thing. I won't start doing all of the stuff that she probably fears. I'm a good little girl. Not a little fundie girl as she would like, but a good little girl nonetheless.

Ugh, my clock/radio/cd thingy sucks. Even though I do get good reception on our only rock station, the alarm isn't loud enough to wake up a mouse.
