i quit my job this afternoon. I agreed to work a couple more days till my boss can find a replacement for me, but at least the weed from last night kept me a bit calmer than i would normally get and i ended up making a clean break and he said he'd still be a good reference for me when i go to get a new job. Finally did something good in my life. Though i came home expecting yea, my parents to get pissed that i'd quit, but realize that i have not been doing well, mentally, this summer because of this job and accept it. Little did i know i was asking too much

so your parents aren't pleased with your decision? Screw'em. You can find a new job.
I say YAY for you. There's no reason to sit around and suffer doing something that makes you miserable like that. Jobs are one thing you can control... family, your mind, background, appearance... those things are largely decided for you, but jobs.... not at all.

yea. i have a lot to do. luckily my boss was gonna throw away some computer **** and i kinda...stole it..(hey, he was gonna throw it away!) and i got a REALLY nice wireless mouse that i really needed for my laptop (dunno why he was gonna throw away a perfectly good mouse) and some other ****, so i have stuff to add to my collection. I have a huge to do list, but now i have some more time to focus on what i care about. My art, working on computers, getting better. Things that matter.

no shame in stealing excess computer parts.... tom did that all the time at work haha (and seeing as he works with comps, that translated into quite a lot of equipment)
I think this'll really help you... more time to focus on things that actually make you happy and less time being miserable... definitely a good trade
