I'm sure everyone is of sick of hearing of him as I am. But I HATE how when someone dies, its all, "oh They wer so great"...but never look at the bad. I mean when I die, I want people to remember the good in me...but I dont want them to lie to themselfs and others. I want them to remember the bad to, its just as much of me as the good. It really irks me, when someone like Peter Jennings dies and everyone only looks at the good. Almost like its a sin to see the bad of a dead person. ...anyways...just a thought...

eh, I'm pretty removed from the media so I'm not annoyed by it. I think it's sad; it was so quick and he was a good newscaster.
but I agree with the point about acting like they were so perfect and such. And I don't think making such a big deal is really justified... I mean, people die tragically every day, and despite being one of the best reporters... it doesn't seem like that big of a loss to the world to me

yeah....it kind brings hope to smokers though...I have a big problem with smokers b.c my dad smokes...even though he thinks we dont know about it...I'm really worried about him...so I hope some light it shed from all this...

yeah ... it's sad when anyone dies, in my opinion, but i also don't get how when someone deemed "good" dies that 'they' can only look at the "good" and forego the bad ... but when someone deemed "bad" dies 'they' don't make a big deal of it ... *shrugs*
