hola.........my best guy friend really likes me (I mean, he flirts and hugs me 24/7 and even kissed me once) and we have a winter dance on 12-3 and I can tell he wants to ask me to it. He's told all of his friends who in turn told me that he wants to ask me out to it. He has asked if I was going and I said yes, if someone asks me to it. And money isn't and issue and neither is transportation and I know he's going. Whats the deal and will he ask me??? PS we've known about this since before thanksgiving.  |

Hola! My thoughts are that he will ask you out, but he is nervous. No matter how comfortable a guy is with someone, asking the girl out for the first time is the worst so when he does, it may come off a little strange. However, if it comes down to Friday or Saturday before the dance, don't hesitate to ask him. Play it up however you like, but if you two like each other then you should be at that dance together.

Ok, I have a question. Do you think there's a point where a girl can be too modest? Whether in dress or attitude? Cause I think I might be. I usually just wear jeans and a long t-shirt everyday and my newsie hat. Now, I'm usually wearing a baggy sweatshirt as well. And I never take compliments too seriously. Or it that a good sign because they won't go to my head and make me all high on myself?
Ok, one more question. Is there anything about girls that scare you? Cause I think some guys are afraid of me. That's a weird, but funny thought because I'm only 5 foot 2. Thanks!

Yes... I think there is a such thing as too modest because you could be wearing a scarf over your face, but you don't have to be real concealed. I wouldn't let it affect the way that I think about someone. Just present yourself nicely and you should have no problem no matter what you wear. I don't find anything in a girl scary at all. Now there aer certain habbits that are turn offs but I doubt that you smoke, drink or are into drugs. Just be your comfortable self and you shall be fine.

theres such a thing as too much anything, but yeah there can be things about a girl that are scary, but it depends on person to person on what that might be or if they even have something they find scary.

It's not that I'm not comfortable being myself. I just don't really show off or anything. And I don't let compliments go to my head.
I just asked about girls being scary, because some guys find me to be a bit intimidating at times. I'm really quiet and serious, so when I joke around, they think I mean it. I can be kinda dark at times and I'm really sarcastic, which I know can turn a guy off. Thank you for the help though.

This guy that I know for sure likes me asked me "Do you like to smell farts?" (he was joking). I am not sure why he did this. Do you think he was trying to get me to notice him and pay attention to him or maybe get a reaction out of me? I really don't know since it is a really strange thing to ask. hahaha!..that's..gross what did you say?  |

We might go overboard and look real stupid ya know. However, sometimes I could care less and I'll smile real BIG at ya. Honestly though, I think we'll cure world hunger before we resolve the awkwardness of greeting people in the hall or the art of holding doors. |

Except for a few guys I know smile at me when I smile at them. Especially one. He smiles at me every time he sees me.
