That conufses me. Do explain. "there would be no point in living if there was no heaven" If there's an afterlife (of any sort, provided its eternal), then what is the point of this life? It's just a few decades long; if time were a movie, your life wouldn't even be a single frame long. You'll live a few milliseconds, die, and then it's off to years and decades and centuries in Valhalla or wherever. Life is even more worthless if you believe that everyone goes to heaven. On a side-note, it seems rather unfair to me that one's fate for a whole eternity would be based on what they do in the fractional amount of time they are allotted. |
