ok, I just tried again to make sure I could. You guys are bad influences.
I could still do a round off if I tried but I don't wanna smash a hole in my floor...

Yes and roundoffs too. I can't do a whole bunch of other stuff I used to be able to though - like front and back handsprings and back walkovers. *sniff* I miss being flexibe lol. Hoar you and I should start a "we used to be good gymnasts but aren't anymore" gymnastics team hehe.

You can still do one??! Ack. Making me jealous now. Grr. I'm just mad I ever quit. I remember the year before I quit, my older sister's friend told me not to drop out when I got older, and to stick with it and you'll be glad later. I quit and I regret it so much. My grandparents got me a ground level balance beam for my 9th (I think) birthday to practice on at home, that's how much I was into it. I think I miss the bars the most though. That was my favorite, even though I wasn't too good at it.

I was pretty into it and was alright, but then I like plateaued and everyone in my class was like a foot shorter than me and it was kinda embarrassing lol... plus it was really expensive oh well my favorite was the beam though. I don't have a lot of upper body strength so the bars were really hard for me, the vault was too short, and my floor routines were too boring, lol.

I was always about middle height in my class. Vault scared me lol. I never did anything spectacular on it, just did a little jump tuck thing over it.
What extent did you reach on the beam? I think the farthest I got was doing roundoffs off of the beam, cartwheels on the beam, and sometimes even one handed cartwheels on it too.
Floor was my best, I had just mastered arials when I quit.

See, I was taller cause I was older than everyone else lol. that's why it sucked
hmm... this is hard to remember since I quit in 5th grade lol. I could do cartwheels on it and spotted backhandsprings, and a small variety of rolls. I was also doing spotted no-handed cartwheels by the end. then the typical handstands, splits, turns, etc. We had foam pits so I was working on front tuck dismounts into that too, instead of the handstand dismount onto the floor. I actually got pretty good on the beam; I could do a front handspring over it, a half-twist, and stick it.
Ironically, I could never do backhandsprings on the floor unspotted. I had this mental block... I was scared of smashing the back of my head down and always faltered. I could do it fine on the trampoline and stuff.
