yes I did. I didn't wear my retainer, so ONE tooth on the bottom shifted... everything else is still straight. This is like 6 years after not wearing the retainer. But I've always had a bad open bite. First they were like "OMG OPEN BITE!!" but then they said the main goal would be to straighten the teeth, but probably not close the bite very much.... it was so fishy.
Plus it's purely asthetic. They wouldn't listen that I had no pain or problems, and had a splint that would be ruined if I got braces again.
Also, I said how I couldn't come for monthly adjustments, since I'd be 3.5 hours away at college without a car (that's like 15 hours driving every month for my mom if we did that), and the ortho's like "well it's about priorities..." BRACES OR COLLEGE?! wtf. Idiot. It really irked me.
(sorry for the rant; still trying to get used to this keyboard, lol)
