bahhh this sucks. my school's blocked like everything... ok, like games, lol. Except I tried to get to insane aquarium and it blocked it as "general pornography." Bizarre.
so, 4 and a half more days now. And I'm now exempt from my math final. So that just leaves the physics regents. I have a test in math and physics left, and my french crap. I have no idea when I'm gonna do it. Since I'm sitting here doing this now. hahahaha. It's nice out. I was outside earlier, during lunch.
....w/e.
oh, and if you have my LJ I've got all my prom/seaside stuff up, including (way too many) pics. Yay. I was hawt. And I took like 6 pics of my friend's boobs by accident, lmao. They're not posted though

Mine doesn't block out anything except porn or ultraviolence. Then you get a red screen, and it's provincially used in schools. I've had 4 or 5 red screens, most of the unintentional.

My school blocks out a lot of things. Anything that contains a "bad" word, anything with nudity (except, Google image search still gets through there...  ), any Livejournal or Xanga type site, any site with what the filter considers "crude humor" on it, and then of course the porn/ultraviolence stuff. |

Yeah, google searches work fine on ours too. Also most of the public folders are filled with porn and goatse and such, because it's funnier that way. xanga and lj and myspace and such are allowed. About 70% of my grade uses MySpace....I feel totally left out. Then I remember that there are very few people that I actually like in my grade.

Ugh, yeah, tons of people from my school have Myspace. >.> Even someone I talked to online asked me a couple times if I had it. I refuse to follow the crowd, shucky darn dang it!

We got Google images banned from our school because either someone was caught searching for porn or the like or they unintentionally got some bad pictures. Most people just went to the UK's Google Images. I don't get why they have a special site.

I discovered that if you search something obscene in google, both the search page and the image page are blocked.
LJ is most likely blocked but I didn't check.
