I'm on fall break too, but it's not really fall break. The teachers and CUPE workers are on strike, so we're not allowed to go to school.

i wish i had a fall break @_@ I remember when i was in Ireland and my teachers went on strike. It was great, we had like A day of school a week, and that day our teachers refused to teach. We just did whatever we wanted to. It musta sucked for the people that were getting ready to graduate, but i was 13 so i couldn't care |

i want a fall break. i don't get a day off til novemeber 11th, and than i get thanksgiving, and than i get christmas break, and than spring break. i totaly think we deserve a few more days than that off. college is evil like that.  |

We were supposed to go to school today, but the teachers are being difficult. They were court ordered to go back to the classroom and they've had their bank accounts frozen, but they still insist on striking.
If this goes on until Thursday next week, the semester will have to be scratched, because we'll be too far behind.

Well the government was trying to impose a two year contract on the teacher union, which I guess was not acceptable. At the same time, the teachers want higher pay and smaller class sizes, among a few other things.
