Normal?

I wasn't sure where to put this...but here goes.
A few weeks ago, the janitor people were mopping the floor in the campus center and I slid and fell on it. I bruised up my knee pretty bad. The bruise is still there and has shown almost no signs of healing. In fact, it still hurts just as badly as it did the day that I did it. And when I barely press on it, it BURNS. It burns. I have never in my life had a bruise that burned. Does anyone else think this is a bit odd? What should I do about it?
This is a n00bish thread, but I'm worried.

pfft, it's not noobish. maybe you should get a doctor to look at your knee, you might have hurt the cartilage or something.

agreed; get that checked out. It doesn't sound normal at all and the longer you wait to solve a problem, the worse it's gonna be to try to do it. And knees are just so delicate to begin with; the last thing you want is a lasting knee problem
