because he knew her parents would want her alive, and even though he would have divorced her, he would still feel guilty for the rest of his life. what he wasnted was a completely GUILT FREE life.

I agree with the husband. What's the point of living if all that's keeping you alive is a bunch of machines? It's not like there was any chance of recovery, since she was pronounced brain dead.

also her autopsy has shown that she /was/ in a completely non-conscious vegetative state, that her cerebrum had liquified, and that there was absolutely no chance she could have ever recovered.

I think it's unfair cause god could have had a miracle planed for her the next day. You never know.
