The Pirates Son is good. I don't know who its by. Also, Princess in Pink by Meg Cabot (Princess Diaries), Hangman's Curse (Frank Peretti) (my FAVE book/movie ever!), and Rowan Hood and Outlaw Princess (both in a series about Robin Hood's daughter. very interesting...)
