I try to crush it To murder the hope that I possess That you will someday Say that you Yes, that you, in fact Love me As I love you I struggle to Strangle the life Out of this foolish hope To rid the world (mostly myself) Of it To forget how much I need you And how I depend on you To forget how You will never love me I would do anything To hear you say That you love me And that you want nothing more Than to be with me And to hold me in your arms forever On this I think As I strangle the life Out of... No. It is not the hope I have killed Not the hope that I have strangled the life out of It is you My one and only love I have killed you Oh my darling I'm so sorry My hands Forever stained with your blood And my tears Your neck and your lips! Cold, bruised, and dead Both of which I kissed and cried into During our beautiful nights of passion Your lips shall never utter my name again As they did so sweetly in the darkness As we loved each other All of this I killed In my attempt to kill Hope.

Mmm, I like it. <3 Full of emotion. I read a poem similar in English last year, but I cannot think of the name or author. Errily similar, in fact.
For clarification, everyone, strangulation is a word. =P
