I've been wanting to see that movie since it first came out. Wasn't it something along the lines of her friend thinking he's gay, so she has sex with him. She gets pregnant, and is ostrichized(sp-Is that even the right word?) by her overly-christian town?

I've been wanting to see that movie since it first came out. Wasn't it something along the lines of her friend thinking he's gay, so she has sex with him. She gets pregnant, and is ostrichized(sp-Is that even the right word?) by her overly-christian town? Pretty much. IMDB says.. Mary (Jena Malone) is a good Christian girl who goes to a good Christian high school in Baltimore where she has good Christian friends, mainly Hilary Faye (Mandy Moore), and a perfect Christian boyfriend, Dean (Chad Faust). Her life seems perfect, until the day that she finds out that Dean may be gay. After "seeing" a vision of Jesus in her pool, she does everything in her power to help him turn straight, including offering up her virginity. But none of it helps because Dean's caught and sent to a "degayification" center and Mary ends up pregnant. It's during her time of need that she becomes real friends with the school's set of "misfits," including Cassandra (Eva Amurri), the school's only Jewish girl; Roland (Macaulay Culkin), Hilary Faye's wheelchair bound brother, and Patrick (Patrick Fugit), the skateboarder son of the school's principal, Pastor Skip (Martin Donovan); whilst Hilary Faye turns her into a social outcast.I heart Macaulay Culkin so much.

Hahaha the DVD is still in my computer.
Degayification has to be one of my favourite words ever.

I love grown up Macaulay Culkin, but the little one makes me want to smash something. Mandy Moore is the antagonist, so it's not so bad. I can't stand her either.
My friend Daniel just loves A Walk To Remember, and anything to do with Many Moore. He's also more effeminate than I, so that explains some things.

Maybe grown up Macaulay Culkin will be less annoying than little Macaulay Culkin then? I don't think I've ever seen him in antyhing recently.

Since 1994 he's only done two major films, being Saved! and Party Monster. He also did one play. He's so much awesomer now. Cute even.

I've seen pictures of him now, and I don't think he's all that cute. But then I've been told my taste in guys sucks. So eh.
I'm going to have to see this movie. Jesse actually almost bought it at Wal Mart this weekend, it was on sale for $9 on DVD. BUt he got "It" on DVD instead, and "Stepford Wives" on VHS. We didn't watch either. Heh.

Not the old one. =[ That's the one I told him to get, but he said they didn't have it.
I think he just wanted the $5 one, so he got the new one, because that's the only one they were selling for $5. But he won't tell me that.
