I heard this song from Johnny Cash first, and I loved it. I am currently listening to NIN, and I just realized that their "Hurt" is the same as Johnny Cash's.
Does anyone know who's came first?

I think you were asking gopher, but I'll butt in and answer anyways. I like the NIN version better. I'm not much of a Johnny Cash fan.

I was asking both of you, actually. I like both, actually, but the Johnny Cash version just shows so much more emotion, in my opinion.

Bah, I can't remember the NIN version. I listened to it about two times then had to go to bed. I can't remember if the NIN one has such a piano-ey sound which is what I really liked about the Johhny Cash version. I think I might've liked the Cash one better.
Hmmm...It's too bad my mom's home, then I could've listened to the NIN version again. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
