I have a new-found love for Fiona Apple. I was listening to her new CD on Myspace Music, just because I was curious, and I just...love it. Her voice is absolutely beautiful, and the music is quite different than what you'd expect. It's kind of jazzy, folky, and rock-y. I don't really know how to describe it, but I'm loving it. I used to listen to one of her songs frequently, but...it was a really old one. *thinks hard*
Gah, I can imagine the music video, with her on green shag carpet in some run down apartment. I love that song. And she has an incredible voice, yes.

Hmm...I've never seen any of her music videos. But when her first album came out, my mom liked her a lot...so I've heard a lot off of that one...but it came out in July 1996, so I was barely 7, and really don't remember most of what I heard clearly anymore.

My mom had mixed tapes in our car that she taped off of the radio, and one of Fiona Apple's songs was on it. And I absolutely love it. The only lyrics I can remember are "I've been a bad, bad girl" and a few other snipets. And I tried finding it, but failed. Perhaps I'll try a lyric search.
