[Phobic of Tragedy]

If you've seen Pieces of April, you've heard a few songs by them. They're one of the Stephen Morris side-project bands (he has a few, I believe...and they're all pretty interesting, and the same style of music). This one...I don't even know how to describe it. It's like a mix of synth-pop, indie-pop, folk, and easy listening. And I doubt that even covers it. And the song titles and lyrics are just as amusing as the actual music. You can't go wrong with a song title like "The Cactus Where Your Heart Should Be" or lyrics like "The book of love is long and boring/No one can lift the shucky darn dang thing". I'm really not sure whether to laugh, or wonder what these people were on. But either way, if you ever get the chance, listen to something by them.

Hm, it won't play the songs for me. I saw Pieces of April, but I can't say I remember any of the music. Liked the movie though.

Hmm...that site is primarily defective, but I kind of just put it up there for people who can't download. Some songs play, and some don't...and you have to have Windows Media Player for it to work. Meh.
