So do any of you make your own stuff? Clothes, jewelry, shoes, bags, other accessories?
I've made earrings, necklaces, revamped a pair of sandals, made a bodice (see my ren pics), and recently decorated a jacket with rhinestones
I like making my own stuff; it makes me feel original

I love making clothes. I make shirts, skirts, dresses, etc. that would be too expensive to buy. I like to use odd fabrics found second hand (and then washed of course).
I make jewellery out of hemp quite a bit, and beads. I used embroidery thread and sent one to ginni.
I'm currently looking for a pink, purple, or green fabric, perferably velour, to make a cape out of.

I make a lot of my own jewelry (friendship bracelets made of embroidery floss). I think it'd be cool to make my own clothes since it's hard to find some that I like and that fit. Unfortunately, I don't know how to sew, and I don't think I would have the patience.
