Wow, my hair is driving me absolutely insane. Over the summer I'd wash it 2-4 times a week, and I'd be absolutely fine. Not overly greasy by then end, and no dandruff. As you probably know from my whining, I had chicken pox a few weeks ago, and since then my hair's been totally...icky. It's really greasy within 24 hours of washing, and I'm starting to get dandruff for the first time in my life.
So any advice for shampoo/conditioner/etc?

when my hair was really dandruffy, I washed it with laundry detergent and after that it went away
that probably wasn't very helpful :\

Nah, I used to wash my hair with dishsoap on occasion. =P
I may just try that.

I use TreSemme, I can't even spell it right, and it seems to work fine for me.

dont get the Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo, it sucks ass.

I used to use Head and Shoulders when I didn't have dandruff! So yeah...I'll take your advice.

I used the head and shoulders dandruff shampoo, and it just made my dandruff worse. Maybe by "dandruff shampoo" they meant that it causes dandruff... tricksy advertisingness

Tricksy indeed. >.> It's also a really strong shampoo with chemicals and such, and I'm more into natural stuff. I've been using hemp and river clay shampoo bars for a year now.

I have had quite a battle with dandruf. I think it's because of my allergies. My skin is really sensitive. H&S used to work for me, but it stopped working a couple of days ago. My hair is starting to get really hard to brush after I wash it, my dandruff is getting worse, and now I don't know what kind of shampoo to use. I hate my hair.

I have really sensitive skin too, which is why I've been using the hemp and clay soap and not dying it...Except the bangs and nape. Those don't count. H&S never bothered me though.

Ahh, my hair gets so dandruffy in the winter. It's horrible. :[
But yeah, I don't know what to tell you because I have the same problem... haha sorry.

I don't have many probs. with my hair. I can't get it to look right this lenth though. Hah. Go to the docs. and have him proscribe something that'll work fast and crap. spend the money on that or spend it on trying 50 different things.
