I've never read Heart of Darkness, but the Scarlet Letter and Pride and Prejudice are two of the most godawful books I have ever been assigned.

I've never read P+P, but Scarlet Letter is so much better than heart of darkness. It actually has a plot, a decent story. the only difficult part is the language.

I loved Pride and Prejudice, and the Scarlet Letter was ok - completely different than I thought it would be though lol.

Great Expectations was not that bad. We just finished reading The Red Badge of Courage. It was horrible. It had no plot. I got a 65 on my final test.

Seriously, the crappiest book I've ever read was "The Bridge to Terabithia" or something like that. The ending basically killed the story.
