And the most boring book ever is The Old Man and the Sea. I've read both and I must say, Heart of Darkness is much more boring it's a freaking NARRATIVE >_<

Middlemarch is the most boring book ever, get it right.
I had a teacher who made it sound so interesting. He would read passages with such passion that when I got home I would pick it and read a page before realising that it was not interesting at all.
I wrote an exam essay on it having never got past book 1.

Great Expectations is about on par with Heart of Darkness
But only because it's so long, comparatively
