okay, it is 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. And am I in bed dreaming about philip, like I normally am at this hour on a Saturday? nooooooooooo Im up getting ready to go to a high school that Ive never been too, dont really want to go to, and that has been hated by my old school forever to take the SAT's. Now, some of you that actually PASSED the test are going to tell me that I have nothing to worry about, but since Ive been homeschooled, my wonderful parents (who think Im 2 and am incapable of studying on my own) have done everything for me in the past 7 years except write the answers on the test for me...wait, they've done that too. So basically, Ive learned a little bit about World and the Nation's history and how to multiply but thats about it. I know nothing in ANY subject becuase Ive been too lazy to tell my parents to back off. Well, the time has come to take one of the most important tests of my life, and am I prepared? noooo. This is the first test that Ive ever taken that I didn't have the answers to right in front of me. I hate this. This is why I hate being homeschooled. You learn nothing...at least with my parents for teachers, you learn nothing. I will let you all know how I barely passed the test when I get the scores. Oh, and besides going to a high school that me and the rest of my town literally HATE, i have to be around Parkview peoples for FOUR HOURS. I will probably go mad...but first I need to go to Starbucks...I need coffee. I am sooo not used to getting up before noon. one good thing tho, I am a morning person. Well, sry, but Im soooo bored and felt like talking someone's ear off!

I beg to differ on a lot of what you said. I'm homeschooled and I absolutely love it! Of course, my mom never put the answers in front of me the way you describe your parents doing, so that would make a difference. I talk the SAT yesterday, and I prayed before I did it and I felt really good through the whole thing. Except for the essay, but I hate essays anyway. Other than that, I even felt good with all my math answers! I never feel that way about math, never!! Of course, if you're not someone who prays, then I really can't help you. I just thought maybe I'd say that stuff. Now, about your parents, there's only one word to say about them: overprotective. Seriously. OK. I'm done now.

quote: overprotective
u said it sister. I cant WAIT to get out of here and move to athens. or in with jeremy (well, his family anyway...long story) it went better than i thought it would. the school itself sucks, but the test was ok. i wouldn't say i had fun doing the test itself, but it was awesome being in a real school and a real classroom taking a real test with real teenagers and real teachers and sit in a real desk and lean against a real locker...lol. ive never had any of that. well, ive had real teachers and deskes, but that was like, kindergarten. anyway, i screwed up on the math completly. i just guessed at most of the answers. the essay was easy for me, except that I didn't write more than one paragraph. everyone else wrote the whole two pages. lol. i hope they dont count off of length.

Yeah I saw a lot of people doing that when I did the SAT essay too. I was hoping they don't take away scores for the length either. I pretty much did the same thing with a lot of math answers, but I worked out the multi-choice ones. I had a bigger prob with the grid-ins. That's where I missed my two answers. Well... that's my story.
