I'm taking the macroeconomics test in 2 days o.o
*braces self*
edit to add that I just took it yesterday, and it sucked fully as much as I expected it to.
also I found out that dissolving into hysterical laughter in the middle of the test and playing air hockey with the instruction booklet is a good way to get quite a lot of strange looks directed at you. :\

Can you get AP classes as a freshman? I think at my school, I'd have to take them over distance learning. Are they really extremely hard?

I doubt it. Part of the thing with AP tests is getting your used to college level work, which obviously comes after having gotten used to highschool work. Plus, colleges tend to want things from your junior and senior year of highschool rather than earlier, because it's more indicative of what your abilities are NOW: they don't really care about freshman year, as long as your grades were good.
The hardest part about the AP is time. You need to do quite a lot of stuff in a rather short period of time (like 3 essays in 2 hours, for the english). as far as knowledge, it IS pretty advanced, but if you prepare and know the tricks, it's not too bad (personally). Probably the worst part for students, really, is the class they have to take in order to take the AP test.
