and now here I am, 5 months later, panicking yet again over orgo, yet again. but this time, after this final, I will be DONE FOREVER with orgo.
5/5, 8 am. The end of organic chemistry. And this time it's like 10 times as difficult. I'm very slowly beginning to understand some of the material. I *might* not fail.

My friends doing chemistry in high school count organic chemistry as the worst part of the course, so I can only imagine university level. 0_0

not just "university level;" this is a full year, 2 courses, of JUST organic chemistry.
The best analogy I've heard to describe it: they hand you a phone book and say "memorize this".
And hopefully done forever-forever. I might end up using chemistry sometime in my possible future education/career, but almost certainly no more courses in orgo ever
