There were numerous times on guideposts for teens when some of the members showed hateful behavior to the people who needed help.
So please, on this board, understand that people are different and just because you may be more forunate than someone gives you no right to bring them down.
Here are a few helpful guidelines:
1) If for some reason you think the person is lying, try not to put it so bluntly. Try not to say things like: "I dont believe you, you just want attention!! *bleep*". First of all, that will get you disliked--fast and second, the person might not be lying and you could really hurt them
2) Research before you debate Dont try to argue something that you might not exactly have your facts straight about.
3) Show sympathy Don't just ignore people who post on here. Lend a helping hand, be a friend
Overall, just be a friend to people who need your help. Keep this a nice, helpful board. And, have fun!

well, realizing it's bad is the first step to making it better. You need to be the one to step up to the plate and stop the abuse and stuff, whether it means making them aware of how they're treating you, making someone else (adult that can do something) aware of how they're treating you, or if ur old enough, get away from the situation. That's the best thing you can do, because i know from experience that b****ing and moaning ain't gonna get you no where.
