My goodness, she IS ignorant. Note- ignorance isn't necessarily a bad thing, so don't blow up again. Saying someone is ignorant without an explanation of any sort is breaking the "be kind" rule. Insults like this will be deleted in the future. Please be respectful of you debating opponent. |

I wasn't insulting her intelligence or anything like that, I just doubted she'd ever researched or had been explained the difference between killing and murder. I suppose I could have explained myself, but it seemed like a waste considering Laila already did. |

2)again we are talking about HUMANS not animals, or weeds or anything like that. yes they are all life but they do not run the world. they do not Modernize, create things( i mean nonliving things, they dont create that) The issue raised was that abortion is ending a life, and it was wrong because of that. Not that it was ending a human life. Allow me to quote: Every day we do things that prevent life from living. Simply saying "abortion is killing" is not good enough. very true..they're all ending a life but there's got to be a moral difference..abortion is purposeful killing or ending, and war isn't..and also what about partial birth abortion? That's killing and i think that should be illegal b/c the baby is already developing into a human..ugh..it's just messed up..i think the person who came up w/ it should be punched in the face lol..
sorry if i'm not making much sense rite now, but i'm a lil out of it..it's a freakin monday morning...

Given that a for the most part, war involes either flinging very explosive or very fast projectiles at each other, with the express purpose of killing your opponent, I would say that war involes a great deal of deliberate killing. and also what about partial birth abortion? Partial birth abortion is something where my stance is not so certain. On one hand the child is usually viable, which is to say that it can survive independant of the mother, and it is a particularly brutal procedure. On the other hand, the name "partial-birth" is misleading, because it implies that the child is literally moments away from birth, rather than months as is usually the case. Regardless, I am all for a limit being placed on what stage a woman can have an abortion, based on the viablility of the child. Want an abortion, get one while it is still a parasitic clump of cells that cannot survive on it's own. |
