yes, I agree! abortion is murder. why should you kill an innocent life b/c of your stupid mistakes. and if it happened b/c of rape than give the child up for adoption, don't KILL it. the only time i would even THINK about abortion is if giving birth would KILL me. even then i would try to think of other options like a c-section. there is NEVER any good reason for abortion

Age-limits. I just thought of this. I'm not sure if it would work. Kinda like alcohol or voting. You have to be 18 or younger or be a victim of rape to legally get an abortion.

That's actually arguable, since aborting the pregnancy kind of puts an end to the chance of birth and so on...
If you're over 18 and a rape victim, how do you get an abortion? Do you need to prove you were raped legally? By then your pregnancy could have turned into a toddler.
Also, it doesn't account for women with medical exceptions: ones that are in real danger from pregnancy.
I also don't think it's fair to deny, for example, a married couple who can't afford or are unable to handle children. Or even single women who may not be able to take off work long enough to give birth and recover. Generally I don't think denying abortion is that much a deterrant to sex, and it's impossible to legislate for all possible exceptions.

notice, jojo, that no one disagreed with the adoptopn part. I am also adopted. I am sooo glad that my mom put me up for adoption instead of having an abortion. She easily could have because my real dad prolly raped her or something. He was in prison somewhere up north when i was born. He was in prison because he raped his 13 year old daughter...i guess id call her my half-sister? i dunnol. anyway, i don't agree with abortion. Adoption is totally the way to go if you aren't able to keep your baby.

That could actually work. Really? That's what I was about to say. uhhh....Are you sure it's impossible? Because I really just think it sucks that some woman can go out and party and have unprotected sex all she wants and not have consequenses to her actions. |

Almost completely, and even if you could, it wouldn't be reasonable at all to do so (because there are so many different good reasons women get abortions)
I agree; it's terrible that some women choose to use abortion like birth control. I wish we could avoid that, but not every case is clear.

uh excuse me? abortion IS brutal and it DOES "put and end to the baby" and it DOES "murder their chances" of becoming anything in life. so yes, abortion is murder.
